McCauley Williams: When The Blue Note Hits The Right Note.

This week on Whiskey Business, Dino and the boys had the pleasure of talking to McCauley Williams, President and CEO of B.R. Distillers in Memphis, TN.

McCauley saw an opportunity to take the reins of one of the oldest distilleries in Memphis and went from the vodka that was being distilled there to making two notable whiskies.

Blue Note Juke Joint Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Riverset Rye. Both brands have a combination of expressions that include small batches and single barrels and have started a healthy migration of spreading their Memphis magic to 15 states and counting.

Their product isn’t in Ohio yet, but we can keep a good thought and in the meantime on your next trip to Memphis you have one more reason to go (aside from the food, and music history) because the whiskey they’re making is singing a fine tune as well. Enjoy this fun, entertaining and informative podcast.
